Congrats, dr Cheng-Cheng Wang

Cheng-Cheng Wang successfully defended her thesis Tuesday 14th September on: “Nature and geodynamics of Grenville-age orogens in Norway and Dronning Maud Land (East Antarctica) during the assembly of Rodinia: insights into the lateral terminations of the greater Grenville Orogen“.

We congratulate the freshly minted doctora! 🙂

The opponents were Professor Horst Marschall, Institute for Geoscience, Petrology, Geochemistry, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and Dr. Jenny Andersson, Geological Survey of Sweden. The Internal member of the committee was Professor Harald Walderhaug, GEO and the disputation was led by Professor Ritske Huismans, GEO. The doctoral project has been supervised by Professor Joachim Jacobs, GEO, UiB, Dr. Bernard Bingen, NGU, and Dr. Robert J. Thomas, Council for Geoscience, South Africa.
